I have eaten in East Beach Café many times and really like going there.
(I prefer the evenings rather than lunchtime)
The first time I went, I was wondering what the food was going to be like, because the interior is more café like, rather than a restaurant.
In the evening it has more atmosphere than during the day, but I feel that the bare walls need changing and some pictures or works of art would improve this immensely.
I was very surprised at the high quality of the food and in fact, the Calamari was some of the best I ever tasted. The menu is not very large, but well put together and they have a daily board also.
Siabhon (manager & front of house) is fabulous and charming (why can’t they all be like her?) and the service of all the other staff is also extremely good.
Definitely worth a visit.
